CHARACTER DOSSIER / SALVAGE ENGINEER
RIVETT sees a useful part in every broken machine. The broad-shouldered crocodile engineer brings patient hands, a magnetic wrench and a grin that usually means he has already found a better way to build it.
Identity: Male character · He/him · CROCO5
Origin chapter
His workshop stood beneath the unfinished bridges of the Brickwater Docks. He collected abandoned mechanisms from the canals and turned them into sturdy tools for anyone willing to help with the repairs. BRIX arrived looking for a missing piece of a moving platform; CHOMP arrived standing on the platform while it was still moving. By sunrise, the three had rebuilt it into a route none of the dock maps could explain.
Style & personality
Cobalt overalls, silver bracers, cyan-lit goggles and squared cream teeth give him the squad's block-built language with a working mechanic's silhouette. He speaks slowly, laughs easily and keeps a small collection of imperfect parts because each one taught him something.
Signature kit
The magnet-wrench can suspend small voxel components long enough to align them in mid-air. RIVETT carries the blueprints in a battered toolbelt, though the most useful revisions usually happen during the build.
Inside the crew
BRIX imagines the route, CHOMP tests its limits, and RIVETT makes the structure hold together when their ideas collide.
Nothing wasted. Everything rebuilt.
